The Dip Chair 01 is a minimalist chair with an arched wood design, but its front section appears to be pressed down, creating a recognisable chair form.

The manufacturing process involves splitting the design into two parts for wood steam bending that are later seamlessly joined together, following an IKEA-style assembly approach.

When visualising the concept, I realised the potential for modularity by exploring options to incorporate armrests and different backrests, making it a versatile and customisable seating solution.
